Logging
Due to security relevance some access data has to be stored at the Fairtec GmbH web-server. The web-server is operated by the data processing service center of the Fairtec GmbH. The logging data contains the following matter:
· IP-Address of the requesting computer
· date and time of the request
· favored access-method of the requesting computer
· transmitted input values (file name, …)
· access-status of the web-servers (file transmitted, file not found, etc.)
· name of the requested file
· type of the web-clients
The stored data will be used primary to identify and persecute illegitimate attempts to access the web-server. The stored data can be used for statistic analysis, e.g. the apportionment with regard to the web-client type or the frequency of accesses per site.
Application of Cookies
A cookie is a small file which is transmitted to the browser of the requesting computer. This file contains the name of the website can be read only by that site. The cookie is stored at the harddisc of the requesting computer, for example to assign an identification number. If the site that has sent the cookie is accessed again, the cookie will be read and be used by the web-server for the identification of the requesting computer. We do not generate user profiles and we do not allow the setting of cookies by a third party.
